Xerox India Outlook 2011

Xerox India Outlook 2011 : Computer Services (ACS), the outsourcing firm, made 2010 an unprecedented year for Xerox Corporation. We expanded our portfolio in high-end digital printing and office printing technology, and launched a four-color technology platform in toner, laser, LED and solid ink. The Xerox India Innovation Hub was opened in Chennai in March 2010, and it is the only Xerox research center in an emerging market. Recently we announced three projects aimed at exploring how new online techniques such as crowd sourcing can play a role in collaborative research and open innovation.

2011 – New Decade, New Xerox

In 2011, Xerox will continue to focus on services. Nearly 50 percent of Xerox global revenue comes from its services. We will also focus on providing end-to-end document management outsourcing services to our customers throughout India.

In addition to services, we expect copying and printing trends in color multi-functions devices and digital production printing to witness formidable growth; however a bright future lies in providing document management services to SME and enterprise customers.

In addition, businesses of all kinds continue to adopt green technologies which reduce costs and provide various environmental benefits. We have a strong campaign to enhance awareness of document management services; a successful portfolio in entry-level and mid-segment products in office that enhance color adoption; and a broad digital color portfolio in the industry.
