It marks a 16-month low for the company which in September, 2012, saw its stock price peak at over $700 just prior to the launch of the iPhone 5.

Alumina stock prices outlook 2013 : SHARES in Australia's Alumina have leapt up after its joint venture partner Alcoa signalled that the aluminium industry had turned around, with a jump in profit. The US aluminium giant Alcoa reported a 59 per cent rise in first quarter earnings. Alumina's shares were up 6.25 cents, or 6.22 per cent, at $1.0675 by 1410 AEST today.
