Nikon D800 Release Date, Specs Prices

Nikon d800 Release Date, specs prices : There’s some news today that will interest photography enthusiasts out there. If you’ve been waiting to find out more about the hotly-anticipated Nikon D800 DSLR camera then we have what appears to be leaked specs and an image for it as we get closer to its rumored November 24 release date in Japan.

This Nikon D800 leak came to our attention from Joseph L. Flatley on The Verge, sourced from Nikon Rumors and from what we can see it pretty much ties in with what we would expect. You can see an image courtesy of Nikon Rumors at the top of this post and another can be seen at the source above of the reverse of the camera.

The Nikon D800 7,360 x 4,912 whopping 36-megapixel DSLR will include 1080p and 720p video recording at 30/25/24 and 60/30/25/24 respectively, will be smaller and lighter than the D700, will have a larger display and “excellent video quality, better than D3s. AF is the same as on the D3 and D700 and there are CF + SD memory card slots. The new image appears to show an extended battery module and movie-mode/ live view switch close to the viewfinder. Over on Engadget, Joe Pollicino also informs about an ISO range between 100 and 6,400, pushable to 25,600 and also USB connectivity.

The price is expected to be around ¥300,000, that’s equivalent to around $3,900. We’ve no reason to think that this image and leaked specs are not the genuine article and from what we can see we reckon that many people will be waiting to get their hands on the Nikon D800 camera.
