Dow Jones Index Prediction May 8 2012 : U.S. equity markets were mixed as Wall Street reflected on voting results over the weekend in which Greece and France rejected pro-austerity candidates. In France, Socialist Francois Hollande defeated president Nicolas Sarkozy, prompting investor worry about the future of austerity measures throughout Europe. By the close the Dow Jones had eased 30 points to 13,009, with the NASDAQ adding just one point to 2959.

Today's support: - 12982.50 and 12957.20(main), where a delay and correction may happen. Break of the latter will give 12935.40, where correction also can be. Then follows 12916.10. Be there a strong impulse, we shall see 12896.63. Continuation will bring 12873.30 and 12858.74.

Today's resistance: - 13096.70 and 13157.90(main), where a delay and correction may happen. Break would bring 13187.82, where a correction may happen. Then follows 13218.55, where a delay and correction could also be. Be there a strong impulse, we'd see 13247.04. Continuation would bring 13276.46 and 13296.
