Dow Jones futures outlook 8/31/2012 : U.S. stock prices fell on Thursday as investors sold and jumped to the sidelines ahead of Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke's speech on Friday at the Fed's annual symposium in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Talk that Spain is putting on hold plans to seek sovereign bailout assistance sent prices falling as well.

At the close of U.S. trading, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.81%, the S&P 500 index was down 0.78% while the Nasdaq Composite index was down 1.05%.

European stocks opened higher on Friday
European stocks opened higher on Friday, as investors continued to eye a speech by Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke later in the day, although fresh concerns over the worsening of the debt crisis in the euro zone limited gains.

During European morning trade, the EURO STOXX 50 added 0.28%, France’s CAC 40 rose 0.31%, while Germany’s DAX 30 edged 0.19% higher. read more

Investors remained cautious ahead of Bernanke’s speech at a symposium in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, amid ongoing speculation over how close the Fed may be to implementing more economic stimulus.

Meanwhile, sentiment found some support amid expectations that the European Central Bank is working on measures to help stabilize the euro zone's sovereign debt markets, ahead of its next policy meeting on September 6.

Today's support: - 13032.11(main), where a delay and correction may happen. After that 13007.54. Break of the latter will give 12986.50, where correction also can be. Then follows 12964.17. Be there a strong impulse, we shall see 12931.87. Continuation will bring 12909.40 и 12887.75.
