Searches for “Nokia Lumia” — its first high-end devices based on Microsoft’s mobile operating system — peaked just after the phones were announced. And at a level that trails the manufacturer’s 2010 device, the “N8,” which itself proved a bust.

That’s bad news for Nokia, which has seen its share of the worldwide smartphone market collapse from 33% to 14% over the past year according to Strategy Analytics.
