A Swedish study concludes women consuming over one cup of coffee every day have a 22-percent to 25-percent lower risk of stroke than those who drink less.
The study appears in the American Heart Association's journal "Stroke." Men haven't been left out of coffee's seemingly positive effects.
An earlier study by the same researcher concluded men who consumed coffee or tea reaped the same health benefits.
Other research has suggested coffee can aid in the prevention of cognitive decline, and can help vision and heart health.
It's also been linked to a lower risk of liver cancer. Coffee is known to contain large amounts of antioxidants. For the latest updates PRESS CTR + D or visit Stock Market news Today
