The ASX 200 futures index was up five points at 4,335 on Sunday, pointing to a reasonable start in Australia on Monday.

The Australian profit-reporting season moves into its busiest week with results from 87 major companies including Bluescope, Amcor, Oil Search, AGL, BHP, Coca-Cola, CSL, Woodside, Fortescue, IAG and Woolworths.
The Reserve Bank of Australia's (RBA's) last board meeting, to be released on Tuesday, and Governor Glenn Stevens' parliamentary testimony on Friday are likely to confirm that the bank is reasonably comfortable with current interest rate settings. Meanwhile, the Australian dollar is likely to remain strong as global central banks undertake further monetary easing.
