Wall Street expects Safeway Inc (NYSE: SWY) to report its Q3 EPS at $0.35 on sales of $9.85 billion. SWY shares rose 0.67% to $18.09 in after-hours trading.

Universal Forest Products Inc (NASDAQ: UFPI) reported a strong rise in its third-quarter profit. The company's net earnings for the period climbed to $5.6 million, or $0.29 per share, up from $2.6 million, or $0.13 per share, in the year-ago quarter. Its revenue dropped to $468.9 million, from $480.6 million. However, analysts were expecting earnings of $0.28 per share on revenue of $471.5 million. UFPI shares gained 2.77% to close at $25.94 yesterday.

Analysts expect JP Morgan Chase & Co (NYSE: JPM) to report its Q3 earnings at $0.93 per share on revenue of $23.5 billion. JPM shares climbed 0.75% to $33.45 in after-hours trading.

Darden Restaurants Inc (NYSE: DRI) announced its plans to buy Eddie V's Prime Seafood and Wildfish Seafood Grille chains for $59 million in cash. DRI shares dropped 0.71% to $46.00 in the after-hours trading session.

Analysts are expecting Winnebago Industries Inc (NYSE: WGO) to have earned $0.04 per share on revenue of $113 million in the fourth quarter. WGO shares dropped 0.12% to $7.64 in after-hours trading.
