Currencies and Commodities market september 12 2011 : In the world of currency, the US dollar lost 0.78 percent against the percent against the Japanese yen, and 0.24 percent against the British pound. However, the dollar added 0.13 percent against the euro.

Commodities were trading in a mixed note during the mid-day session with oil adding 1.47 percent to trade at $88.52 per barrel. Gold prices were down 1.08 percent to trade at $1,836.40 per ounce.
