pre market gainers 8/15/11, pre market gainers august 15 2011 ; U.S. stock futures rose Monday, as deal news and encouraging Japanese economic data outweighed figures showing a third straight drop in New York-area manufacturing activity.

About an hour before the opening bell, Dow Jones Industrial Average futures gained 49 points, or 0.4%, to 11299. Standard & Poor's 500-stock index futures tacked on 6 points to 1183 and Nasdaq 100 futures added 7 points to 2184. Changes in stock futures don't always accurately predict stock moves after the opening bell.

Motorola Mobility Holdings (NYSE: MMI) +60.20% after Google (NASDAQ: GOOG announced it will acquire the company for $40 per share.

Research In Motion (NASDAQ: RIMM) +6.88 on Motorola Mobility acquisition.

Nokia (NYSE: NOK) +5.14 on Motorola Mobility acquisition.
