H.E. Thamir Ghadhban, Chairman of the Advisory Commission to the Iraqi Prime Minister & Former Minister of Oil, is confirmed as a speaker for Iraq Mega Projects 2011.
Iraq Mega Projects, taking place at The Ritz Carlton in Istanbul, on 18-20 October, will focus on the progress, challenges and solutions associated in the production of the twelve oil fields, other gas contracts and the forthcoming licensing round. The conference programme includes a one day workshop, which will fully examine developing the value -895963395 chain and furthermore, deliver presentations and case study papers on the concepts; this will be the first time this has been done for Iraq.
Banks in Iraq move towards modernisation
BAGHDAD: Iraq’s projected budget for 2012 will be based on a world oil price of $85 a barrel and have expenditure expected at 115 trillion dinars ($102.9 billion), the country’s finance minister said.
The new budget for 2012 allocates 40 trillion dinars for investments, the minister said. It still needs the final approval of the Iraqi cabinet and parliament.
The latest daily currency auction was held in the Central Bank of Iraq on the 26-MAY-2011.
