Liffe Coffee Ends Lower In Quiet Trade - DJ MARKET TALK

Liffe Coffee Ends Lower In Quiet Trade - DJ MARKET TALK : 1743 GMT [Dow Jones] Liffe robusta coffee futures end lower in quiet trade. Volumes are focused on rolling into the May contract from front-month March, says a trader. "It's all just month-end rolling right now," he says.

Prices seem likely to push higher in the near-term as there's "not enough origin selling around to knock it down," he says. Still, the discounts on the nearby spreads seem to "go against the hypothesis that there's not enough coffee around," he adds. May -$4 at $2,255/ton. c
