New Canada Hot Stocks: Uranium One, Major Drilling, Trilogy, Ratel Gold

Canada Hot Stocks: Uranium One, Major Drilling, Trilogy, Ratel Gold : Among the companies whose shares are making notable moves in Wednesday's session are Uranium One Inc. (UUU.T), Major Drilling Group International Inc. (MDI.T), Trilogy Energy Corp. (TET.T) and Ratel Gold Ltd. (RTL.T).

Uranium One (C$4.91, -C$0.84, -15%) is down as investors discounted the $1.06-a-share special dividend for holders as of Dec. 10 as part of Uranium One's deal with Russian state-owned uranium miner ARMZ, which is acquiring a controlling stake in the company.

Major Drilling (C$38.51, C$1.62, 4.4%) said second-quarter earnings and revenue jumped and the company is planning a 3-for-1 stock split.

A number of analysts raised their target prices on Trilogy Energy (C$12.25, C$0.87, 7.6%) following the release of 2011 production guidance of 26,500 barrels of oil equivalent a day, up 15% from its 2010 guidance.
