Installation Canon Pixma iP4820
Installing Canon Pixma iP4820 is very easy. An installation CD comes with the shipment which contains the driver for installing the printer. You just have to go through few simple steps and the printer is installed.
The installation CD also contains useful application that you install i.e. EasyPhotoPrint EX and Full HD Movie Print.
The Easy-PhotoPrint EX feature allows automatic photo correction and a functionality to create albums, calendars, and stickers in no time. This useful utility allows you to crop, rotate, and rearrange the colors in your photos before printing.
The Full HD Movie Print feature helps you to capture still pictures from High Definition movies and videos that you take with Canon cameras.
Design
The Canon PIXMA iP4820 printer is small and sleek with a glossy black body. The top of the body is covered with smart silver lining to enhance the look and feel.
The dimensions of the printer are approximately 17 x 12 x 6 inches in non functioning mode. When in print mode, with rear tray and output tray open, the dimensions are 17 x 21 x 12 inches.
The printer consists of five ink cartridges. You need to lift the top up to access the inside of the machine where the cartridges are installed.
One PGI-225 pigment based black ink cartridge and four CLI-226 dye based color cartridges (CMYK) are supplied by Cannon at the first instance.
Canon PIXMA iP4820 consists of a mini control panel to the right of the output tray. There you can see two buttons, for power and continue/cancel, and as a PictBridge port for printing photos without a PC.
An adjustable paper cassette with a capacity of 150 sheets is situated at front bottom. It can hold media as small as A5 and as large as A4.
