Australian share market closed down april 2 2012 : The Australian share market has closed lower after encourage Chinese manufacturing data on Sunday, but week local building figures on Monday.

At the close on Monday, the benchmark S&P/ASX200 index was down 5.9 points, or 0.14 per cent, at 4,329.3, while the broader All Ordinaries index was down 3.6 points, or 0.81 per cent, at 4,416.4.
