Despite global woes, growth will be healthy across the region, the ADB said. Developing Asia - made up of 45 countries in Central Asia, East Asia, South Asia, Southeast Asia and the Pacific - is expected to grow 7.5% in 2011 and 2012, down from April forecasts of 7.8 and 7.7% respectively, and growth of 9% in 2010.
