According to a circular issued by NSE, all the eligible members for its main capital market segment would be allowed to trade on SME platform known as 'Emerge' and also no separate membership would be needed for trading on the new platform. read SME Platform guidelines
The market timings for this SME Platform would be between 9:15 am to 3.30 pm, which will be in line with the normal market hours.
Moreover, the NSE would witness the launch of first IPO on its SME platform next week when Thejo Engineering would unveil its public offer on September 4 to secure up to Rs 21 crore.
Four SME firm have been listed on the SME Exchange of BSE. Thejo Engineering has set the price band of Rs 402-430 per share for the IPO, which is slated to close on September 6.
