The Charlotte, North Carolina- based company is expected to report a 6.9 percent drop in first- quarter adjusted net income to $1.62 billion.
Recent competitors trading trend showed Morgan Stanley (NYSE:MS) ended up +2.00% to $17.85, JPMorgan Chase & Co (NYSE:JPM) advanced +1.32% to finish at $43.90, Wells Fargo & Company (NYSE:WFC) gained 1.60% to close at $33.68 and Citigroup Inc (NYSE:C) increased 3.18% to complete the trade at $35.08.
Bank of America Corp (NYSE:BAC) last session volume of 193.42 million shares was surprisingly higher than its average volume of 294.24 million shares. The stock after opening at $8.97 hit high price of $9.00 and then closed at $1.48 by scoring +8.92%.
