Banks, miners and industrial shares surged after U.S. stocks and metals gained, said Arlen Lahura, a trader at Lima- based brokerage Coril SAB.
Austral Group SA (AUSTRAC1 PE), a unit of Austevoll Seafood ASA, rose 6.9 percent to 31 centimos.
Maple Energy Plc (MPLE PE), the oil and natural gas producer with operations in Peru, gained 6.8 percent to $1.41, a two-year high. Cia.
Minera Atacocha SA (ATACOBC1 PE), the Lima-based zinc mining company, advanced for a fourth session, adding 4.5 percent to 92 centimos.
Southern Copper Corp. (SCCO PE), Peru’s biggest copper producer, climbed 3.2 percent to $35.45. The company is expected to publish fourth-quarter earnings next week.
Credicorp Ltd. (BAP PE), Peru’s largest financial-services company, rose 3.1 percent to $117, a 12-month high, after reporting fourth-quarter net income jumped 46 percent to $189.2 million.
Minsur SA (MINSURI1 PE), the world’s fourth-largest tin producer, advanced 2.9 percent to 3.18 soles.
