The Indian benchmarks saw new highs this week with the NSE Nifty crossing the 5,400 mark. However, on Friday, the markets managed to close off the day's low. The BSE Sensex declined 82 points or 0.46% Friday to 17,748.69 while the broader Nifty index ended 30.75 points lower at 5,381.60. For the whole week, NSE Nifty climbed up by 1.05 per cent while BSE Sensex rose 0.82 per cent.
Options Tips
In Options, put/call ratio is high at current strike price the activity is tilted to call side but put is slightly increasing around 5300 levels. On Friday, Nifty Put option has added 836.04 lakh position and Nifty call option has added 594.01 lakh position in open interest. On cumulative basis moneyflow wise Nifty Put option has added Rs 12.39 crore in value and Nifty call option has shed Rs -2.88 crore.
Resistance: 5491.25 - 5423.21.
Support: 5372.05 - 5304.01.
Nifty Futures Trend
On Friday, Nifty futures shut stop at 5382 down by 31 points. For the coming trading sessions Nifty has strong support at 5,332 levels. Up move in the market will face stiff resistance at 5468 levels, and if it sustains above the level of 5468 will lead to higher levels of 5,648. On the lower side, breach of 5,282 level will be viewed negatively for lower level targets of 5,152 and 5,052. (source http://futures-option-tips.blogspot.com )
