IBM (NYSE:IBM) has named Profitero as the global entrepreneur of the Year.
IBM (NYSE:IBM) has named Profitero as the IBM global entrepreneur of the year and the champion of its smart camp contest for established companies.

IBM (NYSE:IBM) has launched new mobile security and management software.
According to media reports, IBM (NYSE:IBM) has launched a new mobile security and management software suite.

It was also reported that the new software is based on the technology acquired from BigFlix Inc. in 2010

The new system provides the ability that if the mobile device is lost or stolen as it allows the administrator to remotely wipe the data. The new application will enhance options for employees to ‘Bring your own device’.

IBM (NYSE:IBM) has launched a giant India data center for Tulip telecom.
The technology giant IBM (NYSE:IBM) has started a giant data center with 900,000 square-foot in India for Tulip telecom, one of the country’s fast-growing telecommunications carriers.

Steve Sams, IBM VP for global sites and facilities services, said that, “The Bangalore center, a year in the making, cost “in the hundreds of millions of dollars, I decline to be more specific. The center is India’s biggest and Tulip Telecom has already invited in the chief information officers of India’s top 150 companies to show them its capabilities. Moreover, another leading U.S. technology company, which he refused to identify, is also conducting operations in the IBM center.”

The technology giant IBM (NYSE:IBM) has launched free training tools intended to help students, teachers, and parents develop Internet security.

Harriet Pearson, IBM security counsel and chief privacy officer, said that, “IBMers are committed to helping educate people on ways to safely and securely use the Internet. The resources we are donating will help teachers and parents raise awareness that most Internet-based threats to individual and computer security can significantly be reduced by actions that informed users take themselves.”

IBM (NYSE:IBM) has signed a deal with PJSC Ukrsotsbank Ukraine.
IBM (NYSE:IBM) has announced that has inked a 10 year agreement with the Public Joint Stock Company (PJSC) Ukrsotsbank to outsource the bank’s information technology (IT) systems and processes to IBM (NYSE:IBM).

This Partnership aims to increase the bank’s operational flexibility, cut costs, and improve customer service.

Joseph Benaroya, vice president, IBM (NYSE:IBM) Global Technology Services, said that, “This is the first instance of full outsourcing in the region and marks a new era in the IT delivery model and in the development of Ukraine’s financial services sector. Banks across growth markets are currently under enormous pressure to reduce costs and operational complexities while at the same time improve the customer experience. PJSC Ukrsotsbank has turned to IBM (NYSE:IBM) for its unrivalled experience in the banking sector and to ensure that its customers benefit from the very best technologies and business processes”.
