If the headline didn’t get your attention, the infographic below is sure to. According to the latest info, Facebook could IPO at $10 billion! If you’re wondering, Google IPO’d at $1.67 billion.
The $10 billion IPO equals a $100 billion valuation. This puts it bigger than Disney, currently at $61 billion, and Amazon, currently holding at $88.3 billion.
Why is this mobile news? The main reason is that recent figures have stated that Facebook has 300 million app users. I thought this number was particularly worthy of mention since Facebook originally just had one guy, Joe Hewitt, building the iPhone app, and yet it started a frenzy of mobile usage. The other interesting stat is that Facebook has more than 350 million users accessing the site from a mobile device each month.
It’s amazing to see how mobile-friendly the world has become since the launch of the iPhone. (source zdnet.com ) For the latest updates on the stock market, visit Stock Market Today For the latest updates PRESS CTR + D or visit Stock Market news Today
