U.S stock market open dow jones futures rose january 23 2012 : U.S. stock futures rose on Monday, with investors again hopeful of a deal between Greece and its creditors after talks hit a snag over the weekend; while in the earnings lineup, oil-services major Halliburton Co. reported higher profit and revenue.

Futures on the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJI) rose 30 points to 12,684. Futures on the Standard & Poor's 500 index were up 1.5 points to 1,312.40 and those on the Nasdaq Composite rose 4.25 points to 2,439.

Wall Street notched a third straight week of gains on Friday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJI) rising 96.5 points, or 0.8%, to finish at 12,720.48, a 2.4% gain on a weekly basis.

With no economic data out of the U.S. and a light corporate- earnings schedule, Europe's sovereign-debt crisis was expected to come back into focus for investors on Monday.
