Canadian Natural Resources production forecast 2012 : Canadian Natural Resources Ltd.'s quarterly profit rose 40 per cent and topped analyst expectations on higher output and crude price, and the country's No. 2 oil producer forecast 17 per cent production rise in 2012.

Canadian Natural Resources expects production of 675,000726,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day in 2012 - about 70 per cent liquids and the rest natural gas. The company's third-quarter net income rose to $836 million, or 76 cents a share, from $596 million, or 54 cents, in the third quarter of 2010.
