Shell and Petroleum Philippines announced yesterday that it would increase the price of its gasoline by 30 centavos per liter and diesel and kerosene at 90 centavos per liter.
EPC said it would impose an 85-centavo per liter increase in the price of its diesel and kerosene and 45 centavos per liter on its gas.
EPC chairman and president Fernando Martinez said the increase
reflected the prices of oil in the international market.
As of press time, other oil firms have yet to announce their prices adjustments.
Only last May 31, oil companies raised their gasoline prices by 50 centavos per liter and diesel by 25 centavos per liter.
The price of diesel was at P42.60 to P44.60 per liter while gasoline was at P51.25 to P57.52 per liter. The current year-to-date net increase is P5.67 per liter for gasoline and P5.30 per liter for diesel. For the latest updates PRESS CTR + D or visit Stock Market news Today
