iraqi dinar news today may 10 2011 : The dinar continued to weaken against the euro on Tuesday setting the middle exchange rate at RSD 99.6208 for EUR 1, the National Bank of Serbia has announced. The dinar reached its highest level against the euro on May 5, when the exchange rate was RSD 99.1051 per euro, and the lowest on January 6, with the exchange rate at RSD 106.4947.

Since the beginning of 2011, the central bank intervened in the interbank foreign exchange market only once by purchasing EUR 5 million in order to ease excessive daily volatility of the exchange rate.

The Belgrade-based Narodna Banka Srbije will leave its two- week repurchase rate unchanged at 12.5 percent when it meets on May 12, according to 10 of 21 economists.
