los angeles sales tax rate 2011 : During its monthly meeting, the Libertarian Party of Los Angeles County (LPLAC) took an official position to oppose County Measure A, which will appear on the November 2, 2004 General Election Ballot. The measure was placed on the ballot by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors in July when the petition drive necessary to put the tax increase before voters seemed to be falling short of the signatures required by the initiative process.
