Fidelity India Children’s Plan consists of three funds focused on education, marriage and savings : Fidelity Mutual Fund has launched an open-ended hybrid scheme, called Fidelity India Children’s Plan, consisting of three funds focused on education, marriage and savings.

The NFO closed for subscription on January 31. This scheme is first children’s investment solution from Fidelity, which aligns specific investment needs with the underlying fund strategies and caters to the risk appetite of different types of investors, the fund house said in a statement.

Key features of the Children’s Plan
are a savings fund that invests predominantly in debt and money market instruments suitable for conservative investors and those nearing their financial goals and a marriage fund with allocation to gold ETFs, which aims to protect the investor against rise in gold prices while saving for children’s marriage needs, it said.
