Accord Sedan's new upgraded features 2011

Accord debuts in GCC with new upgraded features 2011 ; The 2011 Accord Sedan's exterior expresses a more upscale and powerful presence with a new style chrome grille, front bumper and rear combination lamps and a new wheel design.

Building on the sedan's design character, the Accord Coupe's unique muscular stance is enhanced with a bolder front grille design, new front bumper shape, sharp rear combination lamps and a new wheel design.


Interior Design
Interior refinements on all models include new seat fabrics (on models with fabric seats) and new instrument panel design. The interior styling on all models provides luxury, world-class ergonomics and intuitive vehicle controls.

New Technologies
Available as an option on Accord Sedan and Accord Coupe are new technology features like Navigation System, i-Dual Zone Automatic Air-conditioner, Bluetooth Hands Free Telephone (HFT) and rear view camera.

- The Navigation System has extensive coverage of all major roads in GCC and its large 8-inch screen and jog dial for navigation controls is easy to use.
- The i-Dual Zone Automatic Air-conditioner uses GPS sensors to adjust zone temperature according to the position of vehicle relative to the sun.
- Rear view camera which allows the driver to visually verify the area immediately behind the car to enhance safety and comfort.
- The Bluetooth Hands Free Telephone (HFT) allows to pair compatible mobile phones for making or receiving a call without taking hands off the steering wheel.

Engine
- Accord Sedan 2.4 LX and 2.4 EX grades are equipped with a 178-horsepower, 2.4-liter, i-VTEC, 4-cylinder engine.
- Accord Sedan 3.5 LX and 3.5 EX grades are equipped with 271-horsepower 3.5-liter, i-VTEC® V6 engine with Variable Cylinder ManagementTM (VCM) technology.
- Accord Coupe 2.4 EX is equipped with 191-horsepower, 2.4-liter, i-VTEC 4-cylinder engine.
- Accord Coupe 3.5 EX is equipped with 271-horsepower 3.5-liter, 24-valve SOHC i-VTEC® V6 engine with Variable Cylinder ManagementTM (VCM) technology.

Transmission
A 5-speed automatic transmission is standard on all models. Available exclusively on the Accord Coupe 3.5 EX is the steering wheel mounted paddle shifters which allows the driver to enjoy the thrills of manual transmission car with the convenience of automatic transmission.

Safety
VSA, ABS, front airbags, front active head-rests and Advanced Compatibility EngineeringTM (ACE®) body are standard safety features available on Accord. The Accord Sedan 3.5 LX & 3.5 EX and Accord Coupe adds curtain airbags, side airbags to the standard safety features.

Chassis
The double-wishbone front and multi-link rear suspension inspire confident handling performance and a comfortable ride. Available wheel options are 16-inch steel wheels or 16, 17, 18 alloy wheels. All Accords feature four-wheel disc brakes.
